Halloween!

Last Monday was Halloween and PYP 5 came to school in their best outfits. There were ghosts, vampires, witches and more... It was a scary day! (See pictures below)

We are coming to the end of another Unit of Inquiry and beginning the third and last one of the first school Term. Students will experiment with the sun and shadow as a provocation to start thinking about how the world works.

How the World Works is our next Transdisciplinary Theme:

Unit 3
Central Idea:  Systems are a set of interrelated and interdependent elements.

The Universe as a system
-Earth cycles
-Different systems and their characteristics
