St. Francis PYP 5 Blog: Back to work!

Last week we celebrated Earth Day in school and Ms. Faria came to Jd. Europa and Pinheiros Campus as a guest speaker to talk about the process she is going through all the way from her initial idea to taking actions and making it happen. It's a good closure to our unit 5 and a good connection to Earth Day. She is part of a group that believes everyone has a share of responsibility in polluting the world and everyone has the potential to take action and be the change in the community. It was an interesting presentation. Thank you, Ms. Faria!

Also, in PYP 5 Beta, Isabela Silva brought a poster she did at home about Earth day: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Students also used music and painting to discuss about ways to express themselves and chose a song to paint and express their ideas.
